I never set out to be a farmer. I was a skater turned Motorhead skater soon to turn into Rancher — country life wasn’t on the radar. But in 2006, I had the chance to buy the old family farmstead. No big plan, just the right time to make a move. The land had been in the family for generations, but it sat unused for nearly 30 years. Around 2010, I started messing with it — cutting hay, raising horses, figuring things out as I went.
Cattle came next. I thought I was becoming a cowboy, but really, I was learning to be a rancher — there’s a difference. Selling hay and cattle was honest work, but it never really clicked. And the cows weren’t fixing one of my biggest headaches: brush and weeds tearing up my fences.
In 2020, I bought a few goats just to try something new. I figured they’d help with the brush. A few dairy goats slipped in, and I gave the milk a try — something I’d never even tasted before. Turned out, I liked it. More than that, I started to realize what I had.
The deeper I dug, the more I learned. Goat milk isn’t just good — it’s easier to digest for most people, especially those who can’t handle cow’s milk. I found out about A1 and A2 casein proteins, and why so many folks are getting sick from what we call “normal” food. I started looking closer at everything — from milk to bread — and it shocked me how much garbage is in our food.
That’s when I decided to do things differently.
This isn’t some mass-production setup. Every gallon takes real work — early mornings, long hours, and no shortcuts. But I believe there are people out there who want real food from a real farm. People who care about what goes into their body. And this? This is just the beginning of a new chapter for our family
As a member, you receive one free gallon of whole goat milk (or equal value in other dairy products)...
Your $20/month membership gives you direct access to the fresh, raw dairy our farm produces — including one gallon of milk (or equal value in other dairy products) each month. As a member, you’ll also get exclusive access to any surplus before it’s offered to the public — meaning you’ll always have first dibs on extras like butter, cream, buttermilk, or even seasonal products like honey, eggs, or vegetables.
Members are more than just customers — you’re part of the farm. That’s why we’re building a member voting system, where your input helps shape what we grow, raise, or produce next. While not every idea will be implemented (some will depend on cost or logistics), we’re serious about involving you in the farm’s direction. This is a shared effort to bring back real food, real connection, and real community.
Each membership includes one gallon of milk (or equivalent value) per month. If you’d like extra milk, butter, cream, or other products, you’re welcome to request more — but availability depends on supply and seasonal production.
To keep things fair, we prioritize making sure all members get their monthly share first. After that, any surplus is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If demand increases, we’ll work to scale up production while keeping quality and sustainability at the core.
Raw milk is unpasteurized, meaning it hasn’t been heat-treated to kill bacteria. Because of that, it can carry a higher risk of harmful bacteria if it’s not handled properly. This is why we follow strict cleanliness and temperature standards — from milking through delivery — to ensure safety.
That said, many people believe the benefits of raw milk outweigh the risks. Pasteurization doesn’t just kill bad bacteria — it also destroys many of the good enzymes, probiotics, and nutrients that naturally occur in fresh milk. Store-bought milk, especially ultra-pasteurized milk, is shelf-stable but biologically “dead.”
Raw milk from healthy animals, handled with care, is nutrient-dense, easier to digest for many people, and full of beneficial microbes that can support gut health. It’s closer to what nature intended — not a sterilized, processed version of food
Yes — we currently deliver to Grand Forks and are actively working to expand. As membership grows, we plan to include more towns like Hillsboro, Fargo, and other surrounding areas. Our goal is to make real, farm-fresh food accessible across North Dakota and beyond.
We don’t just want to deliver to more places — we want to empower more farms. As we grow, we plan to bring other small farms into the fold, helping them sell their products through our system and learn from our model. This is about more than just delivery — it’s about rebuilding local food networks and supporting family farms across the region.
Memberships can be paused or canceled at any time, but keep in mind the $50 sign-up fee is non-refundable. Canceling will end your access to products and membership benefits immediately
All payments are processed through our secure website on a monthly basis. You’ll be charged automatically on the same day each month from the date you join.
We’ll work with you to reschedule if possible. Products not picked up within a reasonable window may be forfeited to ensure freshness unless prior arrangements are made.
Yes! Members are welcome to visit during scheduled days. This is your herd, and we want you to feel connected to the animals and the land your food comes from.
Goat dairy is often easier to digest for people with cow milk sensitivities, but always consult your doctor first. If you have specific needs, let us know and we’ll try to accommodate them
At first glance, our prices may seem higher—but let’s break it down.
Goat milk at the store (when you can find it) often sells for $21 to $42 per gallon—and most of that is ultra-pasteurized, shipped long distances, and stripped of the freshness and enzymes that make raw milk so valuable.
In contrast, our milk is fresh, raw, and produced in small batches on a family-run farm. And here’s the key: a dairy cow can produce 6 to 8 gallons of milk per day, but a dairy goat gives just ½ gallon on a good day, sometimes as little as a quart or less.
That means it takes more animals, more time, and more hands-on labor to produce the same volume. Every gallon involves hand milking, filtering, bottling, chilling, and delivering. It’s a daily job that doesn’t stop.
We’ve priced our milk to stay competitive with grocery store goat milk—while still being able to pay local help, maintain the herd, and provide you with clean, nourishing dairy you can trust.
You’re not just buying milk. You’re investing in better food, better health, and a better local food system
